I picked some more examples of patterns, photography and artwork that inspires me for my own print designs. Some of the examples have the right muted colour palette that I’m after, whereas others are colourful but feature florals depicted in a more interesting way. There are also a few drawings that capture the right mood and feel, and portray dead or wilted flowers. I’m trying to collect as much visual inspiration as possible to combine all these different feels and looks to create something different to what I’ve already seen is out there for garments of the vanitas theme.
