Looking at Death

Looking at Death by Barbara P. Northfleet
I found this book fascinating as it shows the different ways that different cultures, religions and groups of people mourn for and honour their dead. I was surprised at that different people handle death in very contrasting ways to each other. Some societies take a more spiritual, calm and peaceful approach to death. Some have a celebration of the person’s life. Others take a very morbid, bleak approach.
